I just want you to know

as I understand
 a little more about  life,
and as I learn
a little more about myself,
and as I see
a little more of the world
around me...

I have always had

Carnations are the flowers that belong to
Mother's Day.
According to the "language of flowers", carnations stand for
sweetness, purity, and endurance
~qualities that we might associate with mothers~

Bouquets of carnations were used in the first Mother's Day
church services in 1907 and 1908.
It soon became the custom to wear a carnation on Mother's Day.
