Serve this rosy spiced beverage at parties and family gatherings during the winter. Everyone likes the tangy twist it gets from red ~ hot candy's."

 
10 cups hot water 
1 ½ cups sugar 
1 ~ 12 ounce can frozen concentrate cranberry juice 
¾ cup frozen concentrate orange juice 
¼ cup lemon juice 
6 whole cloves { optional }
1 cinnamon stick broke in half
½ cup red ~ hot candies 
1 pint vodka or spiced rum { optional }
In a 5 ~ quart slow cooker, or a large 5 ~ quart covered kettle, combine water, sugar and juices; stir until sugar is dissolved. 
Add cloves and cinnamon. { If desired, place cloves and cinnamon stick in a double thickness of cheesecloth; bring up corners of cloth and tie with a string to form a bag }. Add spice bag and red ~ hots to slow cooker or kettle.
Cover and cook on low for 2 ~ 3 hours in the slow cooker or low simmer in a covered kettle on the stove for 1 or 2 hours. Before serving, discard spice bag and stir punch. If desired, add 1 ounce of vodka or spiced rum to each cup. Serve hot and garnish with a orange slice.
