1 or 2 pounds fresh asparagus stalks, medium
in size 2 T's dark sesame oil 1 T soy sauce 1 tsp. minced garlic salt & pepper 2 T sesame seeds 6 to 8 wooded bamboo skewers Soak skewers for 1 hour prior to grilling. Wash and snap off the ends of the asparagus, discard ends. Using 2 skewer 2 inches apart side by side, skewer 6 to 7 asparagus stalks on to the 2 skewers. In a small bowl, combine sesame oil, soy sauce and garlic, stir with a
fork to mix. Brush both sides of asparagus rafts with mixture. Place rafts
on the grill and sprinkle with sesame seeds and season with salt & pepper.
Cook 2 to 4 minutes per side { or until nicely browned }. You can
serve the asparagus as rafts or removed from skewers. Serves 3 or 4. Enjoy.
Easily doubled. |
Thank You Randy, for the great recipe
