You can substitute sugar free raspberry jell-o and use fresh or
frozen raspberries or blueberries. |
Angel Jell-O dessert Recipe
1 large - 0.6 package of
sugar free strawberry jell-o
2 cups fresh strawberries - sliced or frozen sliced strawberry -
half way thawed
3 cups angel food cake - cut with a bread knife into bite size prices
1
can light whipped cream
red sugar candy sprinkles
Being 2 cups of
water to a boil, add Jell-O stir until completely dissolved. Stir in
2 cups of ice water.
When the jell-o starts to set pour
3 cups into a
heart shaped dish or a 9 inch square dish. Stir in strawberries and
push the pieces of angel food cake into the Jell-O, chill for a
couple minutes, pour the rest of the jell-o over the top. Chill to set completely. When set and ready to serve
top with whipped cream and red candy sprinkles.
You may have a little extra jell-o and angel food cake. Put extra in
a dish and enjoy later for a great and healthy snack. |
