use reduced sodium chicken

Easy Cheesy Bean Soup, the cold
weather is rite around the corner, what a great soup to warm you
up.
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium grated carrot
2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh garlic
2 (14 1/2-ounce) cans reduced sodium chicken broth
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 cup instant potato flakes
2 (15 1/2-ounce) cans great northern beans, rinsed, drained*
1/2 pound sliced American cheese,
quartered
1/2 pound (1/2-inch thick) slice honey ham or cooked ham, cubed
6 sliced green onions
Heat oil in 3-quart saucepan; add onion,
carrot and garlic. Cook over medium
heat for the allotted time, stirring occasionally, until onion,
carrots and garlic are softened (3 to 4
minutes). Add chicken broth and chili powder. Continue cooking until
mixture comes to a boil (6 to 8 minutes).
Add potato flakes, beans, cheese and ham. Continue cooking until
cheese is melted (6 to 8 minutes). Garnish with green onions, if
desired. Serve with Cheesy Garlic
