Easy Hearty Chicken Chowder
1/2 cup zesty Italian salad Dressing
1/2 pound boneless skinless chicken breast, chopped
1 can ~ 14 1/2 ounce stewed tomatoes, undrained
1 cup chicken broth
1 medium zucchini ~ chopped
1 red bell pepper ~ chopped
1 green bell pepper ~ chopped
1/2 cup elbow macaroni ~ uncooked
1 teaspoon dried basil leaves or fresh basil
1/2 cup reduced fat Mozzarella Cheese ~
shredded
Heat dressing in large
stock pot on medium heat. Add chicken; cook 3 minutes,
stirring once. Add tomatoes, broth, zucchini, bell peppers, macaroni and basil. Bring to boil on high
heat.
Reduce
heat to medium; simmer 20 minutes or until macaroni is tender. Serve in a bowl and sprinkle
with cheese. |
